Job Description

You'll be overseeing the accounts for Singapore and Malaysia markets and will be one of the pioneer to drive the business and have good career progression to move up to become a Finance Manager.

• Consolidation of accounts for all legal entities, maintenance and review of GL, monthly and annual reporting, preparation of various reporting packs
• Perform financial analysis against the budget and review financial performance monthly with senior management
• Participate in the annual budgeting exercise
• Assist and develop accounting policies, processes, and procedures, initiate, and drive continuous process, internal controls and system improvements
• Review and ensure the balance sheet of all legal entities is properly reconciled and managed
• Review and prepare all relevant accounting records, reconciliations, and schedules for accuracy & completeness for month-end, quarter-end & year-end closing
• Collaborate closely with Business Units to ensure revenue and cost is recognized in accordance with the project progression
• Provide finance and accounting support for key operational projects and objectives, including business plans, new business, forecasting and analysis
• Ensure the transactions complies to both Company internal policy and Statutory requirements.
• Cross train with A/P and A/R staff accountants to support as needed
• Prepare and maintain monthly intercompany matrix to always ensure transaction and balances tally
• Responsible for Fixed Asset and Inventory Module
• Work closely with professional on audit and tax queries/request
• Assist in system implementation and reconciliation
• Travelling is required to Singapore for training and working with the team
• Any other ad-hoc task as and when required

• Degree in Accounting and Finance
• Professional qualification will be added advantage (ACCA/CPA/CIMA etc)
• Strong business acumen and ability to deal with stakeholders
• Independent with good communication skills
• Preferably with some Big 4 audit experience and full set knowledge
• Singapore accounts knowledge will be added advantage
• ERP system
