? We're Hiring: Accountant (Korean Market)! ?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant (RTR) or Accounting Manager to manage financial activities related to the Korean market for one of our leading global automotive brand. The ideal candidate is an important business partner to its Korean counter parts, established close connections with local business and finance teams. The incumbent will possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Korean.

What You'll Do:
? Lead and perform monthly financial closing process in compliance with both global (IFRS) and local statutory accounting principles (K-GAAP) and frameworks for the Korea Legal Entity which includes postings of key provisions and accruals in alignment with business team.
? Lead the end-to-end audit process--from planning through to sign-off--and contribute to the preparation of statutory financial statements.
? Collaborate with the business to provide guidance on both routine and complex accounting matters, particularly during periods of business process changes.
? Prepare and ensure timely deliverables of all other scopes within financial reporting process, including management reporting, VAT/ Tax filings, cashflow forecast etc. (You will have access to external consultants/advisors for complex treatments and disclosures.)
? Measure and follow up the quality and efficiency of global set KPI's and drive harmonization/standardization, automation and WoW to increase efficiency in our processes.
? Support the team as back-up as/when needed for other legal entities/markets.
?Develop and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders.
?Drive change by taking part/support Strategic/System related Projects decided by the Finance Management Team (FMT).
What We're Looking For:
? You are a native level Korean speaker with excellent reading and writing skills and have a deep understanding of Korean culture, customs, and business etiquette.
? You hold a university degree in Business Administration and/or a professional accounting qualification, with at least five years of relevant experience in accounting within an international organization--ideally in the automotive industry or an external audit firm.
?You have deep knowledge of finance processes and policies, and you apply them effectively in daily operations. You are results-driven, able to prioritize and deliver on commitments within tight deadlines, while maintaining high standards of quality.
?Experience with IFRS, K-GAAP, taxation, SAP ECC/S4 Hana, HFM/OneStream
? Excellent communication skills in both English and Korean.
?You enjoy working in a global context navigating across cultures.
