We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our Group of Companies in Shah Alam. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting management in financial planning and compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle full set of accounts including GL, AR, AP, bank reconciliation, and monthly closing.
Prepare and review monthly management reports, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
Ensure accurate and timely submission of statutory reports such as SST, tax computation, and audit requirements.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretary on annual submissions and compliance matters.
Oversee bookkeeping activities, ensuring transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support business decisions.
Maintain and update the accounting system and ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
Provide support and advice to management on financial performance, variance analysis, and internal controls.
Ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and Income Tax Act.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or related field.
Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in accounting, audit, and tax functions.
Proficient in SQL Accounting Software; experience with Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
Solid understanding of tax computation, SST, and audit processes.
Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
