Job Overview:



This role supports the Financial Controller in ensuring accurate financial and management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and compliance. It also helps maintain strong internal controls and effective use of the company's ERP system. The position works closely with other departments to strengthen governance and provides financial insights to support the company's growth and stability.

Key Responsibilities:



Financial and management reporting: Oversee all financial operations and accounting functions of the group, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual individual and consolidated financial statements. Review and analyse financial results, providing insights and reports to the Finance Controller. Perform monthly inter-company reconciliations and streamline related party transactions, billings, and contra entries. Responsible for day-to-day financial activities and promptly highlight key findings to the supervisor. Cash Flow & Treasury: Manage group cash flow and liquidity to ensure sufficient working capital for operational needs and future investments. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities. Audit and Tax Filings: Responsible for year-end statutory audit and tax filings, ensuring timely submission and compliance with regulatory requirements. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements across the group. Implement and enforce robust internal controls and financial policies to safeguard assets and maintain the integrity of financial data. Monitor existing accounting policies and proactively identify areas for improvement. Participate in system and process improvement initiatives. Support internal audit and due diligence exercises. Undertake any accounting, reporting, or ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Financial Controller

Job Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent. Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or similar) is an added advantage. At least 10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, including 5 years in a senior role. Experience in the logistics industry is preferred. Good knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations and tax laws. Able to work independently and handle assigned tasks efficiently. Experience in improving processes and applying best financial practices. Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ERP systems. Proficient in English and Malay.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
