Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesI. Transaction Processing & Record Keeping



Accounts Payable (AP):

Process vendor invoices, ensuring proper documentation, matching against purchase orders (POs), and obtaining necessary approvals for payment. Prepare and process daily payment runs (cheques, bank transfers). Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.

Accounts Receivable (AR):

Assist in generating and distributing customer invoices for finished goods or services. Process and apply incoming customer payments to the correct accounts. Assist with credit control by monitoring outstanding invoices and following up on overdue accounts.

General Ledger (GL) & Data Entry:

Accurately track, record, and post daily financial transactions to the general ledger (e.g., journal entries). Maintain and organize all financial records, documentation, and files, ensuring they are audit-ready.

II. Manufacturing & Inventory Support



Assist in tracking and recording costs related to raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods inventory. Support the reconciliation of physical inventory counts with the accounting system records. Process and record material scrap or write-off documentation as directed by senior staff.

III. Reporting & Reconciliation



Perform monthly bank statement reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations (e.g., intercompany accounts, fixed assets, accruals). Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial schedules and reports for the senior accounting team. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.

IV. Compliance & Audit



Assist in compiling and organizing documents for internal and external audits. Support the preparation and filing of various tax reports (e.g., VAT, Sales Tax, Withholding Tax) as needed. Ensure all accounting tasks comply with local financial regulations and company policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications



Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
