  • Group and Company Level Accounting: Oversee the consolidation of financial results from various subsidiaries and business units, and manage accounting operations at the company level to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present consolidated financial statements and reports for the group, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Accounting Operations: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including but not limited to general ledger maintenance and fixed assets.
  • Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information.
  • Audit Coordination: Liaise with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and ensure timely and accurate completion of audit requirements.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare a monthly presentation to provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
  • Monthly Reporting: Facilitate communication and transparency within the organization through managing clear and timely monthly departmental reporting requirements.
  • Metrics and Dashboards: Alongside finance and data analytics team, assist in developing company metrics, dashboards, and management presentations to support performance monitoring and strategic initiatives.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the finance team and departments to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts, and monitor performance against these plans.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ACCA or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 1 year in a group consolidation role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in accounting software. Advanced Excel skills are essential.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of MPERS/MFRS standards, financial reporting, and consolidation processes.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Integrity: High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all financial matters.
