Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Accountant

to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records in accordance with accounting principles and company policies.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

Manage vendor payments, customer invoices, and account reconciliations.

General Ledger Management:

Ensure accurate posting of transactions and maintain general ledger accounts.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support business planning.

Taxation & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including SST, corporate tax filings, and other statutory requirements.

Audit Support:

Assist with internal and external audits by preparing financial data and supporting documents.

Bank Reconciliation:

Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.

Cost Control:

Monitor expenses and suggest cost-saving measures to improve financial efficiency.

Payroll Support:

Assist in payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in employee payments and statutory deductions.

Financial Analysis:

Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for business improvement.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree/ Diploma in Finance or Accounting or any related discipline/ Professional Qualification or related qualification. Professional qualification such as

ACCA, CPA, or equivalent

is a plus. Minimum

3-5 years

of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or multinational environment. Strong knowledge of

Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements

. Proficiency in

accounting software

(e.g., SAP, SQL Accounting, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Mandarin speaking, able to read & write in Mandarin is a plus.
