• Salary: RM 7000-8000.
• Job location: Central Business District (5-day week @ City center), Kuala Lumpur.

Our client is a major conglomerate group of companies listed on the main board of Bursa Malaysia. They are engaged in a wide spectrum of business activities in Malaysia and other Asean region. Currently they are actively seeking qualified Accountant(s) to assume the pivotal role of Consolidation Accountant based at their corporate head office in city center, Kuala Lumpur.
About the job
This role is full time permanent position, reporting to Group Finance Manager. This is a key role within the Finance department in which you will be responsible for performing group consolidations, preparing statutory accounts for the Group companies.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
\xe2\x8b\x85Preparation and review of group financial reporting, including management accounts and reports, annual statutory, financial statements, budget, income tax/deferred tax computation.
\xe2\x8b\x85Manage and prepare condensed statement and quarterly financial reporting to Bursa Malaysia.
\xe2\x8b\x85Preparation of group consolidation (multi-tier) of accounts, management reports, financial analysis, budget, interim/annual financial statements.
\xe2\x8b\x85Preparation of monthly management account analysis.
\xe2\x8b\x85In charge of annual audit exercise for the Group and responsible for the preparation of audited financial statements.
Requirements: Candidate profile
The successful candidate will have proven corporate reporting experience including managing the consolidation process within public listed environment.
\xe2\x8b\x85Malaysian with ACCA or minimum Bachelor degree in Accountancy.
\xe2\x8b\x85Proven good track record of relevant work experience in managing group finance in public listed company environment.
\xe2\x8b\x85Financial/management reporting.
\xe2\x8b\x85Prior initial work experience gained from Big 4 or second tier audit firm would be highly regarded.
\xe2\x8b\x85Technically competent and up to date with relevant technical accounting pronouncement and standards, especially Financial Reporting standards.
\xe2\x8b\x85Familiarity with the requirements of public-listed companies will be an asset.
\xe2\x8b\x85Strong operational consolidations skills will be necessary.
\xe2\x8b\x85Must be proficient in English, spoken and written plus conversant in BM and/or Mandarin.
