Accounting Assistant (Freight Forwarding Industry) at Bukit Jelutong

Position: Accounting Assistant, LSSC, Malaysia
Contract Duration: 6 months
Work location: 2 Blok 2, Jalan Bumbung U8/90, Seksyen U8, Perindustrian Bukit Jelutong, 40150, Shah Alam
Salary: RM2,800 - 3,300 (Based on experience and skills)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Ensures the country adherence to the AP policy
- Secondary contact towards the ISSC for payments
- Coordinate dispute management between vendor and operations
- Cooperates with the assigned ISSC Team on payment actions
- Ensures proper approvals are obtained for all type of payments payment, including invoicing in other than country currency, bank or parent guarantees, e-Banking payments, and the usage of cheques.
- Country approves payables within 5 working days
- Ensures list of approved vendors are always made available
- Ensures Company Tax installments are paid with the correct value date according to the Tax schedule
- Clearing of Bank-In-Transit & AP Debits
- Processes invoices that can\'t be handled by ISSC
- Maintain proper filing and record of accounting documents
- To meet country KPI on DPO of more than 20 days
- Diploma or LCCI Higher
- At least 1 - 2 years\' experience in Accounts Payable Management
- Computer knowledge: SAP-ERP, Microsoft Office
