AL Maritime is a business unit within GM&T (Global Markets & Technologies). The activity is articulated around four main businesses: Global Helium, Global Rare Gases, Offshore Energies and Maritime Cryogenic Supply. It is a very international environment, managing multiple locations worldwide.

As part of AL Maritime, Cryogenic Tank Services (CTS) is a Malaysian entity which was acquired in 2015. CTS specializes in cryogenic tank and equipment rental for the offshore and maritime industries as well as in cryogenic transport of molecules, and provides a full range of repair and testing services.

CTS is looking to accelerate its expansion through key development segments. The Accounts Executive - Finance position is within CTS, based in Selangor and the key missions include: being involved in customer invoicing and month-end close process, all matters pertaining to customers, and other interesting ad hoc projects for the Finance Manager, in line with CTS\xe2\x80\x99s growth ambitions in business through the following levers, among others

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

As part of the Finance and Accounting team, assists with month-end close process;

Monthly close, primarily by issuance of Customer Invoice for all Business Units,

Perform reconciliation of sales revenue with intra and inter companies, to resolve all discrepancies before the close of the month for intra companies;

Monthly submission of invoices and statement of account to customers;

Monthly preparation of Sales Reports by Business Units and Profit Centers;

Prepare the Customer debit note and credit note list for audit purposes;

Monthly generation of rental transactions, Sales Orders and issuing Customer Invoices for ALM SAS (Europe entity) and to address the Credit Note / other requests from time to time;

Assist in ensuring compliance with delegation of authorities and segregation of duties on accounting related processes;

Assists the Chief/Senior Accountant in preparing the audit confirmations, and reconciliations required for the annual audit process with external auditors;

Assists the Chief/Senior Accountant with any ad-hoc accounting issues that might arise.

Knowledge specific to the position

Strong accounting and financial analysis skills;

Ability to conceptualise and assimilate data, strong analytical skills;

Commitment to uncompromising accuracy in data management;

Superior communication skills, English is mandatory, Malay, Mandarin are a plus;

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google applications;

Experience with ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus;

A Bachelor\'s Degree - Accounting/Finance is preferred;

1-3 years of applicable experience;
