Requirements

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets, use formulas, and generate reports.
  • Experience with invoice processing, including verifying, coding, and entering invoices into the accounting system.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Basic knowledge of Human Resources (HR) and Payroll Management processes.
  • Experience in recruitment activities is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be willing to work onsite in Kuala Lumpur.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage invoice processing, including verifying, coding, and entering invoices into the accounting system, and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Support payroll management activities, such as preparing payroll data, processing employee payments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.
  • Assist with the recruitment process by posting job advertisements, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews for accounting and finance positions.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting and human resources departments, including managing correspondence, maintaining files, and scheduling appointments.
  • Utilize proficiency in Google Drive, Microsoft Excel to create and maintain spreadsheets, perform data analysis, and generate reports as needed.
  • Communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, employees, and clients.
