Assist with preparation and posting of journal entries
Perform bank, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations
Support invoice processing and accounts payable workflows in Xero
Provide assistance with cash flow management, including preparation of daily/weekly reports
Contribute to month-end close, including accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet schedules
Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by the Senior Accountant
Maintain accurate and organised accounting records in line with company policies
Assist in ensuring compliance with Australian GST and tax obligations (BAS support, coding checks, GST accuracy on invoices)
Provide backup support across the finance team as required
Skills & Experience
1-3 years' experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or assistant accountant role
Hands-on experience with Xero (or similar accounting systems)
Understanding of Australian GST and tax concepts preferred but not essential
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT competency
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a small team
Experience with month-end close and reconciliations across multiple entities
Exposure to cashflow reporting and analysis

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
