Key Responsibilities

Perform bookkeeping and data entry using accounting software (training provided if required). Reconcile bank transactions and maintain accurate ledgers. Process bills, receipts, and expense claims in an organised and timely manner. Assist with preparation of financial statements, management reports, and cash flow summaries. Support payroll data entry and maintain staff records. Maintain proper document control and file naming standards in cloud platforms (e.g. SharePoint, OneDrive). Communicate with clients in Chinese (Mandarin) via WeChat, email, and other online platforms as required. Coordinate task progress and deadlines with supervising accountants in English. Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times. Prepare Income Tax Returns for Individuals, Companies, Trust and Partnerships. Prepare Business Activity Statements

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. Minimum 1-2 years of practical bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred. Fluent in both Chinese and English (spoken and written). Able to use WeChat professionally to communicate with clients. Good computer literacy, with experience or willingness to learn cloud-based systems (e.g. Xero, Dext, Microsoft 365). Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability. Self-motivated and able to work independently under minimal supervision.

Desirable (Not Essential)

Understanding of GST, payroll, and business reporting processes. Prior experience working with international or small business clients. Familiarity with business structures such as company, trust, or sole trader.

Working Hours

Flexible arrangements may be considered depending on time zone and workload.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
