Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of POS reconciliation, financial reporting, and accounting standards.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in accounting, covering both AR and GL functions; having exeperiences in F&B/retail industry experience is preferred.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise across departments.

Responsibilities
AR

• Manage end-to-end AR cycle including invoicing, receipts, credit notes, and adjustments.
• Perform daily reconciliation of cash, credit card, e-wallet, and online platform collections with POS system and bank statements.
• Investigate discrepancies in sales and collection reports and resolve issues promptly.
• Liaise with outlets and operations to ensure accuracy of sales recording.
• Assist in process improvements to enhance efficiency in collection and reporting.

GL

• Manage day-to-day GL accounting functions, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts (bank, intercompany, fixed assets, accruals, etc.).
• Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with accounting standards.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities on GL-related matters.
• Support system enhancements and process improvement initiatives.
