Accounting Executive
. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
Accounting Executive
to join our finance team. In this role, you will support the
Senior Accountant
in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with reconciliations, and ensuring smooth day-to-day finance operations.

RM 2500 - RM 3500
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and posting of journal entries.
Perform
bank, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations
.
Support
invoice processing
and
accounts payable workflows
in
Xero
.
Help with
cash flow management
, including preparation of daily and weekly reports.
Contribute to
month-end closing
activities, including accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet schedules.
Prepare
ad-hoc financial reports and analyses
as requested by the Senior Accountant.
Maintain accurate and organized accounting records in accordance with company policies.
Assist in ensuring
compliance with Australian GST and tax obligations
(e.g., BAS support, coding checks, verifying GST accuracy on invoices).
Provide backup support to other members of the finance team as needed.
Skills & Experience
1-3 years of experience
in an accounting, bookkeeping, or assistant accountant role (Compulsory).
Hands-on experience using
Xero
(or similar accounting software).
Good understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
Familiarity with
Australian GST and tax concepts
is preferred but not essential.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
and strong general IT competency.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively in a small finance team.
Experience with
month-end closing
and reconciliations across multiple entities (is an advantage).
Exposure to
cash flow reporting
and variance analysis (is an advantage).
Prior experience working in a
hybrid or remote setup
is an advantage (is an advantage).
