Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to support our organisation. This role offers hands-on experience in accounting operations, particularly in audit preparation, tax-related documentation, and resolving sales discrepancies. It is an excellent opportunity for students or fresh graduates looking to build a strong foundation in the accounting field.
Job Responsibilities
1. Audit Support
Assist in preparing, organizing, and filing audit-related documents. Collect receipts, invoices, and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness. Ensure all financial records are properly maintained and audit-ready.
2. Tax Documentation (LHDN)
Support the preparation of documents for LHDN tax submissions. Assist in organizing tax files and ensuring compliance with filing requirements. Help maintain proper records for tax purposes.
3. Sales Discrepancy Handling
Assist in reviewing and identifying sales discrepancies. Support the reconciliation process and follow up on missing or incorrect information. Work closely with the team to ensure accurate sales reporting.
4. General Accounting Support
Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks and data entry. Help maintain financial documentation and organized filing systems. Support the team in day-to-day administrative and accounting duties.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or holding a Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Basic understanding of accounting principles. Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus. Detail-oriented, organized, and willing to learn. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
