Assist in handling general accounting and clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and document organization.
Support in the preparation of monthly management reports and basic note-to-account analysis.
Assist in monitoring daily cash and bank balances and help with simple cash flow updates.
Ensure accounting entries are accurately recorded in the system under supervision.
Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities using the Sage UBS System.
Help in preparing bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations and related analysis.
Perform administrative and accounting support tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Learn and apply accounting principles and software in a practical work environment.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must be currently pursuing or have recently completed a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Sage UBS) will be an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team.
Able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with guidance from the supervisor.
Interest or background in the construction industry is an added advantage.
