Job Description

Objective: Oversee overall daily operation of Accounting Dept. Take charge of monthly and annual closings leading to timely, accurate reporting of financial and management results. Communicate with auditors and bankers for required financial information. Facilitate accounting data migration to new ERP system for 2023. Responsibilities: - Ensure that sound accounting control system is in place for payment, timely release of financial and management reports, collaborate with other departments for effective and efficient operation, and keep proper accounting records for audit purposes. - Attend and participate in weekly financial targets meetings with Production Control, Materials Control, Purchasing, PD&D and Sales Departments. - Review and approve accounting vouchers to ensure proper accounting entries in books and accounts for fair presentation of revenue, expenses, assets, and liabilities in financial statements. - Manage daily cash and bank position to ensure smooth operation of business. - Prepare annual budget and quarterly PL forecast. - Lead, facilitate and support accounting team to achieve timely accomplishment of their tasks. - Accept ad hoc assignments from management regarding accounting, financial and tax issues. Requirements: - Diploma and above qualification and accountancy or relevant discipline. - 5 years and above work experience in accounting, experience in manufacturing industry would be an advantage. - IFRS knowledge would be a plus. - Skilled in MS Excel and using relevant database/system. - Good communication skills, bilingual in English and Chinese (to liaise with Chinese speaking stakeholders) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: RM10,000.00 - RM18,000.00 per month Schedule:
