Job Title: Accounting Manager

Job Location: Ipoh, Perak

Industry: Healthcare/Beauty/Aesthetic

The incumbent is responsible to lead the Accounting department and is able to oversee the group accounts while leading the team. The company is currently expanding rapidly and plan to reach a greater height in near future.

What you\'ll do \xf0\x9f\x91\x80:

• Responsible to handle a full set of accounts (GL, AP, AR) to ensure accurate and timely closing of month-end accounts
• Proper maintenance of documentation and filling for accounting entries supporting.
• Ensuring all account activities and functions are in an accurate and timely manner
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
• Coordinate and complete annual audits
• Lead and oversee the team
• Responsible for tax submissions on personal and company levels
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
• Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Liaise with the auditor, tax agent, and other regulatory bodies, including preparation of relevant schedules and supporting documentation.
• Oversee the group accounts and make recommendations when necessary.

Job Requirements \xe2\x9c\x85:

• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a relevant field, preferably in the retail industry.
• Hands-on experience in handling a full set of accounts and taxes.
• Possess professional accountancy qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, CPA Australia, ICAA, ICAEW, or MICPA) and qualified MIA member.
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent.
