• Position Title: Accounting Officer.
• Salary: RM 2300-2800.
• Location: Kelana Jaya (5-day week),Petaling Jaya.

This is an established international freight forwarder, providing a complete range of import, export and integrated logistics services across five continents worldwide. They are currently looking at recruiting an Accounting candidates for their Malaysian business operations based at their corporate business head office at Kelana Jaya in Petaling Jaya.
Roles & Responsibilities
This position will encompass both Accounts payable and receivable functions.
As Accounting Officer, your overall objective will be to work with the finance team with primarily responsible being day to day execution and management of AP and AR portfolio in the department.
The main responsibility will involve the following scope:
xc2xb7Manage AP and foreign currency payments.
xc2xb7Manage AR and credit control.
xc2xb7General Ledger and balance sheet reconciliation.
xc2xb7Liaising with operations and other departments to gather financial information and to enter these information into operational and finance system.
xc2xb7Assist with month end, quarterly end and year end audit requirements.
xc2xb7Prepare month end journal.
xc2xb7Prepare cash flow forecasts/analysis on daily/monthly basis.
xc2xb7Bank reconciliation, including multi-currency reconciliation.
xc2xb7Ensure company debtor accounts are paid as per trading terms.
xc2xb7Conduct credit checks on new customers.
xc2xb7Issue monthly statement.
xc2xb7Prepare reports on debtors ledger.
Requirements for the role
Candidate for this position must be Malaysian (Male or female) who would want to pursue and develop for long term career growth in logistics industry.
xc2xb7Malaysian below age 30.
xc2xb7Minimum qualification:LCCI Diploma qualification in Accounting.
xc2xb7Some experience in handling accounting functions.
xc2xb7Experience in reconciling general ledger accounts and foreign currency transactions would be an advantage.
xc2xb7Prior experience using CargoWise advantageous.
xc2xb7Intermediate Excel skills.
xc2xb7Highly professional work approach and ability to tight deadlines.
xc2xb7Must be proficient in written and oral English plus conversant in BM and advantageous if also Mandarin.
Remuneration is negotiable and will be based on the experience and capability of successful candidate.
