Job Description
HYATT REGENCY KUANTAN RESORT Accounting Officer Financial
- Directs associates to ensure productivity meets standards given in accordance with Hyatt Design Standards and Criteria and the Hyatt International Finance Operations Manual.
- Be fully familiar with internal control procedures.
- Ensure smooth month-end closing.
- Ensures that all policies and procedures are being followed. Counts cash on hand, inspects notes receivable and payable, negotiable.
- Focuses attention on improving productivity levels and the need to prudently manage utility/payroll costs within acceptable guidelines ensuring optimum deployment and energy efficiency of all equipment.
- Ensures new technology and equipment are embraced, improving productivity whilst taking work out of the system.
- The role is subject to job rotation within the accounting functions.
- Always ensure fully compliance to:-
- Malaysian Accounting Standard Board
- Hotel Management Agreement
- USALI (Uniform System of Accounting)
- Hyatt Global Hotel Accounting Policies and Standard Operating Procedures
- US GAAP
- Able to work on night shift or rotation shift.
- Able to work on weekend and public holiday.
- Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- 2 Off Day Per Week
