Overall Job Objectives:
The Senior Accounting Executive will play a support role in maintaining financial integrity, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the overall success of our organization. The candidate will be working closely with the Accounting Manager and Finance Manager in the preparation of all financial reports for the Company.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with local accounting standards.
Perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team.
Provide accurate and timely financial reports to management for decision-making purposes.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and accounting principles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
Monitor and analyze budget variances, providing insights and recommendations.
Provide support in the preparation of the tax compliance activities, ensuring adherence to local tax regulations.
Facilitate and manage the annual external audit process.
Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Address audit inquiries and implement recommendations for process improvements.
Mentor and guide junior finance team members.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 3-5 years related experience
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Solid understanding of accounting and financial procedures and regulations
Strong work ethics with the ability to manage confidential data
Professional qualifications preferred (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA or MICPA).
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated integrity, ethics, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality in handling financial information.
KEY DELIVERABLES:
Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Provide insights on cost control and efficiency improvement initiatives.
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance department.
Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
