. This role will be based in

Kuala Lumpur

. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

Responsible for monitoring the payment request and processes conducted by the team for payment processing. Maintain a strong sense of urgency and able to forecast potential issues/hiccups ensuring a seamless, timely delivery of the entire payment process. Assist Team Manager in the development and implementation of internal accounting policies, transitions to and from teams both onshore and offshore, procedures and process improvements for treasury & payment operations function. Ensure adherence to corporate policies, carrier agreements, SOX procedures, local GAAP regulations and procedures as per organization's standards and SOPs. Supervises accounting staff as required. Provides guidance, advice and support to direct reports to ensure issues are resolved and addressed appropriately in a timely fashion. Has authority to assign, direct and evaluate work, as well as train and provide general direction to professional staff. Interact with stakeholders, project managers etc. to ensure proper execution for flow of information on performance (daily, weekly, monthly), exceptions, process changes and new opportunities

What you need to have:

Bachelor's Degree in

Accountancy

or equivalent Minimum 7 years of experience preferably in

Accounts Payable

transactions. Those working in a Shared Service environment are encouraged to apply.

Good command of English

in both spoken and written
