Job Description

This unit handles bookkeeping and accounting services for businesses. The role is highly sensitive to timelines and compliance requirements to ensure accounts are prepared and completed on schedule. The unit works closely with auditors to ensure management accounts are completed and handed over to auditors in a timely manner.

The candidate must be results-oriented and highly adaptable to digital tools and systems.

Internal

Perform accounting work as and when necessary. Review Management Accounts Reports prepared by subordinates. Ensure issues faced by subordinates are addressed promptly through proper guidance and motivation. Monitor departmental performance targets and collections. Liaise and work closely with other departments and business units. Perform any ad-hoc tasks/duties as required.

External

Ensure Management Accounts Reports are delivered to clients and/or auditors on time. Communicate clearly with clients on the progress of monthly/quarterly/half-yearly/yearly accounts, where applicable. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Assist with client requests or issues to maximize the value of services provided.

Required Experience & Skills

Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA/MIA/CIMA/ACCA/bachelor's in finance/accounting or similar professional qualification. At least 5-7 years of hands-on experience in the accounting and finance function Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams. Analytical mindset, comfortable with data, and eager to learn new tools and technologies.
