Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role, fresh graduates are also welcomed to apply.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL/UBS).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and practices is a plus.
Responsibilities
Financial Record-Keeping:
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
Record daily financial transactions in accounting software.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
Manage accounts receivable, including issuing invoices and following up on outstanding payments.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Bank Reconciliation:
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
Identify and resolve any discrepancies between bank statements and accounting records.
Expense Management:
Monitor and record employee expenses and company expenditures.
Ensure all expenses are appropriately authorized and documented.
Payroll Support:
Assist in preparing payroll by collecting and verifying employee attendance and timesheets.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee salaries.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare periodic financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Compliance and Auditing:
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
