i) Prepare, verify, and submit all financial claims related to construction and development projects.
ii) Ensure all bank-related claim packages are complete, accurate, and submitted in required formats.
iii) Monitor claim status, track approvals, and follow up on outstanding claims and update management on claim status.
iv) Support the preparation of variation claims, defect claims, insurance claims, or supplier credit claims, depending on company needs.
v) Process supplier invoices, delivery notes, and purchase orders.
vi) Prepare and process payments to suppliers and subcontractors.
vii) Maintain up-to-date accounting records and filing systems (digital and physical).
viii) Assist in reconciling bank statements, company credit cards, and petty cash.
ix) Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
x) Help maintain job costing records and allocate expenses to the correct projects.
xi) Liaise with site managers to gather receipts, timesheets, and expense reports.
xii) Support auditors and external accountants by providing required documentation.
Requirement:
1. Diploma or degree in Finance/Accountancy or relevant discipline with 3 - 5 yearsworking experiences specifically in construction industry.
2. Good command in English, Bahasa Melayu and able to understand Mandarin are advantages.
3. Computer literature and knowledge in accounting software.
4. Able to work as a team with minimum supervision, responsible, meticulous, detailed oriented, self-discipline, honest and possess good working attitude with willingness to learn.
5. Able to start work immediately will be an added advantage
