Job Description

Key responsibilities

Record-keeping:

Maintain accurate financial records, process invoices, and manage sales and purchase ledgers.

Accounts payable/receivable:

Process payments to vendors, track client invoices, and assist with debt collection and credit control.

Reconciliation:

Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy.

Reporting:

Assist senior accountants in preparing financial reports, budget forecasts, and statutory accounts.

Administrative support:

Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, answering phones, and managing correspondence.

Payroll:

Assist with payroll processing by verifying hours and deductions.

Compliance:

Ensure all financial activities comply with company policies and regulations.
Required skills and qualifications

Education:

A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is often preferred.

Experience:

Previous experience in an accounting or administrative role is beneficial.

Technical skills:

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential.

Soft skills:

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organizational skills, time management, and problem-solving abilities are crucial.

Communication:

Good communication skills are necessary for interacting with clients, vendors, and internal staff.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
