About our client:

Our client is a European multinational corporation with established presence in Malaysia. They are looking to hire a regional accounts executive, who will be responsible for finance and accounting matters for the assigned legal entity(s) in the company. This role will be supporting and reporting directly to Accountant - APAC, based in Johor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the preparation and review of tax return/schedules.
• Perform month end closing activities and preparation of monthly financial reports.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agents and other external consultants whenever required.
• Participate in preparation of yearly budget.
• Review and report to management on the organisation's cash flow positions.
• Perform ad-hoc duties and assignments as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant full set of accounts and financial reporting experience.
• Possess Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting, Diploma holders are welcomed as well.
• Ability to travel locally/overseas as and when necessary.
• Possess strong critical thinking, independent and analytical skills
• Excellent written and communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
