Job Description


AL Maritime is a business unit within GM&T (Global Markets & Technologies). The activity is articulated around four main businesses: Global Helium, Global Rare Gases, Offshore Energies and Maritime Cryogenic Supply. It is a very international environment, managing multiple locations worldwide.

As part of AL Maritime, Cryogenic Tank Services (CTS) is a Malaysian entity which was acquired in 2015. CTS specializes in cryogenic tank and equipment rental for the offshore and maritime industries as well as in cryogenic transport of molecules, and provides a full range of repair and testing services. CTS is looking to accelerate its expansion through key development segments. The Accounts Executive - Finance position is within CTS, based in Selangor and the key missions will be to monitor and improve upon the overall efficiency and effectiveness of finance operations in support of its internal stakeholders to meet CTS\xe2\x80\x99s growth ambitions in business.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Accounts Executive - Finance scope includes but not limited to the following:
  • Issuance of customer billing for all Business Units;
  • Monthly submission of invoices and statement of account to all customers;
  • Checking of new Purchase Orders issued prior to authorisation on item codes, financial dimensions, quantity and amount;
  • Matching of supplier invoices with Purchase Order and Delivery Note before taking in the invoices;
  • Monthly preparation of Sales Report by Business Units and Profit Centers;
  • Assist in internal controls - reconciliation of accounts, reconciliation of subledger with general ledger, and documenting policies, procedures and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility;
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with delegation of authorities, segregation of duties on accounting related processes;
  • Assist in annual external audits;
  • Support on an ad-hoc basis for any accounting related projects.

Qualifications:
  • Strong accounting and financial analysis skills
  • Commitment to uncompromising accuracy in data management
  • Ability to conceptualize and assimilate data; strong analytical skills
  • Disciplined and deadline-oriented
  • Superior communication skills, English is mandatory, Malay, Mandarin are a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other Google applications
  • Experience with ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus
  • A Bachelor\'s Degree - Accounting/Finance is preferred
  • 1-3 years of applicable experience (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
