About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous and driven

Accounts Executive

to join our growing retail team. In this role, you will manage the full spectrum of accounting functions and provide financial insights that support sound business decisions and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full set of accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and monthly closing. Oversee accounting activities for subsidiary companies, including consolidations and intercompany transactions. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management. Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support decision-making. Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and perform regular variance analysis. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including timely submission of tax filings and coordination of tax audits. Liaise with external auditors, providing accurate documentation and timely responses. Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure financial accuracy. Track and control expenses to ensure alignment with approved budgets.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. ACCA, CIMA or similar professional certification is a plus. At least 3 years' experience in a similar role--preferably in the retail sector. Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and software (e.g., ERP systems). Confident in financial reporting, analysis, and data interpretation. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently. Must be willing to work in Kajang.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
