Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and monitor monthly GL balances and schedules report.
• Analyse monthly GL Balances movement and SLA action items report and to follow up & follow through with the GL owners for long aged balances clearance.
• Identify and submit AP & GL transactions via EDS.
• Prepare and finalize payment listing for fund allocation.
• Manage accounts payable balances (trade, non-trade, interco).
• Perform interco reconciliation and ensure timely resolution of reconciliation variances.
• Prepare monthly intercompany payable schedule by aging and ensure clearing of long aged balances.
• Assist business units and vendors for inquiries on payment through email & phone
• Attend to internal and external operational audit work.
• Advise and guide cost centres personnel on AP & GL submission via EDS.
• Prepare monthly tax instalments provisions and follow through for payment to IRB by the deadline.
• Provide details for tax filing and provide feedback to Group on queries related to Corporate Tax Handbook.
• Prepare SOP/Guideline/Work Instruction/P&P related to job scope.
• To collaborate on all business process improvement, UAT activities and automation projects.
• To handle the consolidation of the reconciliations.
• To accommodate stretch assignment and any other ad hoc tasks assigned by management.

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Accountancy / Finance / Professional qualification in Accounting (ACCA/CIMA/MICPA) or equivalent.

• 1-2 years of experience in Finance / Accounting will be an added advantage.
