Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accountancy.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field will be added advantage.
• Preferably with knowledge in accounting, finance, bookkeeping and proficient with Accounting ERP system.
• Strong interpersonal, communication skills and problem solving skills.
• Good teamwork attitude. Leadership skills are an added advantage for career advancement.
• Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set accounts, including overseeing account payable, account receivables, fixed assets and general ledger functions.
• Assisting with monthly and yearly closings, account analysis and supporting the Manager in carrying out the responsibilities of Account and Finance Department.
• To maintain cash book to take into account all receipts and payments make out from operating accounts and produce bank reconciliation.
• To make appropriate accruals and provisions in accordance with the relevant accounting standard.
• Process payment, filing and updating AP transaction. Match invoices to PO/DO and process data entry into the computer system.
• Liaise with auditors, tac agents, bankers, and other statutory bodies/authorities.
• May manage and maintain petty cash.
• Lead, mentor, manage and develop accounts assistant in your team.
• Assist in any ad-hoc assignments.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• As backup to Accounts and Admin Assistant.
• Ensure the confidentiality and safekeeping of Accounts and Finance Department.
• Any other job responsibilities assigned by the HOD / management as and when required.
