We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager to join our growing Finance team. This role will play a key part in supporting the Group's day-to-day financial operations, statutory compliance, and reporting functions across multiple outlets and entities. The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and able to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Month-End Closing


o Assist in month-end closing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reports.

o Prepare and review management accounts, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

o Ensure financial data integrity across all outlets and entities.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Flow Management


o Support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting process.

o Monitor and prepare cash flow reports to ensure adequate liquidity.

o Provide analysis to support management decisions and business planning.

Compliance & Governance


o Ensure compliance with MFRS, statutory requirements, and tax regulations.

o Prepare and review tax submissions and related documentation.

o Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities.

Operational Finance


o Supervise Finance Executives/Officers and review AP, AR, payroll, and inventory processes.

o Strengthen internal controls and highlight process improvements.

o Monitor outlet performance, costs, and efficiency to drive profitability.

Stakeholder Engagement


o Liaise with banks, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.

o Provide timely financial insights to Management and HODs to support decision-making.

Qualification & requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) is a plus.

4-6 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, preferably in the F&B, hospitality, or retail industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role.

Strong understanding of accounting standards, taxation, and financial reporting requirements.

Hands-on experience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., SQL, SAP, Oracle, or similar), as well as advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.

Proven ability to supervise and guide a small team, review their work, and build capability through coaching and feedback.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment and supporting operational teams with financial insights.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and communicate effectively across all levels.

Exposure to costing, inventory management, and outlet-level financial performance within hospitality or F&B settings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
