Job Description


The Manager, Accounts & Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance. This role involves managing the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company\'s goals and objectives.Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; PA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
  • Preferably Mandarin Speaking candidate as require to handling full company & stock accounts for non-Syariah compliant businesses.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and its formula usage.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Responsibilities1. Financial Management:
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Knowledge of doing full set of accounts, consolidation account, as well as taxation account.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
2. Compliance and Audit:
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
3. Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
  • Assign tasks and projects, and monitor team performance.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
4. Strategic Planning:
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and long-term plans.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and efficiency.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives and projects, providing financial expertise and analysis.
5. Cash Flow Management:
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Optimise working capital and manage debt financing.
6. Systems and Processes:
  • Evaluate and improve financial systems, processes and controls.
  • Implement new financial tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure data integrity and security within the financial systems.
