You are responsible for supporting the Sales & Profit by generating and ensuring accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports to deliver a Great Customer Experience inline with the Country goals. Guarantee tax and VAT declarations and payments corresponding legal demands. Ensure liquidity. You support the country to have Great People & Teams by managing and leading the accounting department team according H&M values and guidelines.

Key responsibilities:

Financial Statements and Reporting
Generate and ensure accuracy and legal conformity of required accounting reports. Collaborate, establish procedures, and follow up with other departments to ensure timely reporting.

• Establish monthly, quarterly and yearly cut
• Initiate and carry out general ledger account analysis
• Monitor accounts payable
• Initiate bank and credit card reconciliation
• Set routines and follow up on stock booking and intercompany transactions
• Set routines for fixed asset tracking and appreciation calculations
• Communicate with external audit authority
• Report to mother company according to IFRS

Employees
Manage and execute recruiting, training, developing and succession planning for the accounting department team. Ensure that all employee relation responsibilities are fulfilled.

• Ensure team development through required trainings, performance reviews and ongoing feedback
• Develop talent pipeline for department through clear succession planning
• Support in recruitment process for team where needed

Taxes and Cash Flow
Guarantee tax and VAT payments according to legal demands. Generate cash flow forecast and ensure liquidity.

• Carry out cash flow forecast
• Optimize liquidity according to H&M financial policy and initiate actions
• Ensure corporate tax and VAT declaration and payment
• Year-end corporate tax calculation
