• Degree in Accounting or a related field, with a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, or CPA)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Accounts Manager or senior accounting role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
• Proven track record of managing a team of accounting professionals and improving financial processes and controls
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, with the ability to analyse and interpret financial data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
• Demonstrates a proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to think strategically

Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses to support decision-making
• Oversee the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to provide financial information and recommendations to support business objectives
• Manage the accounts team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback
• Implement and maintain efficient accounting systems and processes to improve financial controls and reporting
• Ensure the company's financial records are maintained in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations
