Job Description


Professional, Full Time (Contract)The position is responsible for the overall management of a complete set of accounts and financial reporting on Curtin Biovalley Sdn Bhd\xe2\x80\x99s accounting systems. The position is also required to assist with implementing, monitoring and enhancing internal control systems in line with the Company\xe2\x80\x99s financial management objective as well as performing other related financial duties such as data analysis and research, monitoring expenses, and initiating expense-saving and tax-saving solutions.The incumbent also acts as the point of contact for both internal and external enquiries, responsible to manage the organization\xe2\x80\x99s day to day operation, performs a variety of administrative related activities and interacts with a wide range of clients, partners, business associates, the public, the state and federal government and agencies.\xef\xbb\xbfThe incumbent is expected to perform a variety of project management and administrative duties to support the company in creating efficiency and effectiveness for our clients. General duties include but are not limited to; scheduling, report preparation and professional writing. Attention to detail is a must to ensure that all work is accurate and done in a timely manner. The incumbent performing this role must have exceptional communication, computer and organizational skills and be able to balance numerous tasks at one time.\xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfSelection Criteria:\xef\xbb\xbf

  • A degree with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of extensive relevant work experience and education/training.
  • At least five years of accounting or auditing experience in a responsible position with demonstrated ability to handle full set of accounts of a medium size organization and supervision of a team of accounting staff.
  • Possess good organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Able to handle high volume of workload and multiple priorities, detailed oriented, work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines.
  • Possess administrative work experience with the ability to establish a filing system and maintaining records.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic, able to work effectively with minimal management guidance and supervision.
  • Good level of competence in spreadsheets and computerized accounting software.
  • Excellent communication skills and good command of spoken and written English.\xef\xbb\xbf

  • \xef\xbb\xbfA member of MIA or equivalent professional body.\xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbf
