About the Role:



We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Accounts Payable Executive

to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing vendor invoices, payments, and related financial records while supporting effective cash flow management and payment planning to ensure the company's financial operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:



Process supplier invoices, staff claims, and payment requests accurately and on time. Verify invoice details, ensure proper approvals, and match with purchase requisition and cost sheet. Maintain up-to-date vendor records and reconcile supplier statements. Prepare, schedule, and execute payment runs (cheques, bank transfers, online payments). Assist in developing and maintaining payment schedules and cash flow projections to ensure timely payments while optimizing working capital. Monitor cash requirements and provide regular updates on accounts payable forecasts to support finance management in cash flow planning. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls. Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting. Resolve invoice and payment discrepancies and communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders. Support internal and external audit requirements. Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives within the finance department.

Requirements:



Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting. Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., AutoCount). Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Good communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Proactive and disciplined with a strong sense of responsibility. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively. Knowledge of e-Invoicing and SST (Sales and Service Tax) compliance requirements. Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry is an added advantage.
