Our client is a well-established food chain with 40 halal outlets across Malaysia.Key Responsibilities:
Manage full set of accounts, WHT & SST and income tax submission, cash flow forecast.
Prepare management reporting and other ad-hoc reporting, perform analysis to highlight variances, conduct findings and recommend performance improvement initiatives.
Supervise creditor and follow-up closely on overdue payments.
Supervise monthly debtors clearing and merchant clearing.
Liaise with tax agent, banker, company secretary, statutory bodies/authorities and financial and accounting related matters , aaddress queries from auditors, tax agents, statutory body and handle required submission according to stipulated timeline.
Prepare yearly budget and do periodic update of re-forecasting and/or revised budget as requested.
Assist in process improvement and automation implementation for finance & accounting function.
Comply with accounting standards and company policies guidelines & procedures, where applicable.
Collaborate with the team to ensure work assignments are completed as per expectations timely.
Job Requirements:
Possess an Accounting certificate, LCCI, Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
At least 3 years of relevant hands-on experience working experience in a similar position.
Exposure to F&B or FMCG industry is an added advantage.
Result oriented person with a keen eye for detail and possess good analytical skills
Possess a working knowledge of bookkeeping procedures, excel spreadsheet and accounting software, preferably SAGE.
A quick learner and good team player who is able to work with minimum supervisor.
