Accounts Team Lead

Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager, the right individual will possess great leadership qualities which will drive innovation and achieve team excellence.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for accounting functions for the entire Group
• Review GL, AR & AP transactions
• Review Corporate/Trust bank transactions and trust reconciliation
• Prepare Group consolidated reports
• Prepare and/or review management & analytical reports

• Responsible for all sales tax and corporate tax matters
• Lead external audit process and statutory compliance
• Assist with annual budgets
• Provide guidance, coaching and on-the-job training to upscale team capabilities, skills and knowledge.
• Automate processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience, and a minimum of 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a similar role (banking and/or payments experience considered favorably)
• Degree qualified or completion of CMA, CPA or CA

• Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), familiarity with data query/data management tools is extremely desirable
• Experienced and motivated working in fast-paced, high-energy environments with specific experience in multi-national businesses
• Experience in Oracle Financials (preferred) or other management accounting software
• A \xe2\x80\x9chands on\xe2\x80\x9d approach and result oriented
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
