The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, effective teaching techniques, and the ability to inspire students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills to achieve academic excellence.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Additional Mathematics lessons aligned with IGCSE, A-Level, or IBDP syllabus.
Tailor teaching methods according to students' learning needs and academic goals.
Provide academic support for assignments, exam preparation, and challenging mathematical concepts.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain communication with students and/or parents regarding progress and areas for improvement.
Conduct either physical classes, online sessions, or home tuition based on student preference and your availability.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, or a related field (Master's or teaching certification is a plus).
Prior experience teaching IGCSE / A-Level / IB Additional Mathematics is required.
Strong knowledge in algebra, calculus, trigonometry, statistics, and advanced problem-solving.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
Reliable internet connection and suitable teaching setup (for online classes).
Flexible, punctual, and committed to helping students succeed.
Able to work weekday evenings or weekends based on student schedule.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with exam boards such as Cambridge (CAIE), Edexcel, and IB.
Experience in one-on-one tutoring or small group sessions.
Patience, empathy, and a student-centered approach.
