Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a responsible and proactive Staff member to assist in administrative functions and support day-to-day operations, including office equipment upkeep, basic workshop and engineering support tasks, and handling product application processes such as SIRIM, SPAN, and other regulatory permits. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach and willingness to learn technical and administrative procedures in an engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Regulatory Applications



Responsible of prepare, compile, and submit documentation for regulatory approvals such as

SIRIM

,

SPAN

,

DOE

, and other relevant authorities. Track application status and follow up with relevant authorities to ensure timely approval of permits and certifications. Maintain an organized filing system (physical and digital) for all permits, certificates, and regulatory correspondence. Liaise with consultants, government officers, and certification bodies to ensure compliance with product and company licensing requirements. Keep updated with changes in regulatory standards and requirements related to engineering products and services. Responsible of renewing existing licenses, certifications, and permits before expiry to avoid operational disruptions. Support internal departments by providing necessary documents or updates regarding compliance status.

Technical & Workshop Support



Assist engineers and technicians with basic workshop and engineering tasks. Ensure all workshop tools and equipment are in good working condition. Monitor and arrange servicing or repairs of office and workshop equipment. Help in the preparation of materials or components for testing or certification purposes.

Office & Equipment Maintenance



Monitor office equipment (printers, computers, air-conditioning, etc.) and coordinate routine maintenance. Identify, evaluate, and source products or equipment in line with project or operational requirements. Manage minor repairs or liaise with service contractors as needed. Handle minor troubleshooting or repairs for office and workshop equipment when required. Organize and maintain proper storage of office and workshop tools, spare parts, and supplies. Conduct regular

stock monitoring

, including receiving and issuing of items. Maintain accurate

inventory records

for office consumables and workshop materials. Perform

monthly stock counts

and assist in

year-end stocktaking and closing

procedures. Ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of the office and workshop areas.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
