Job Title Administrator, Trade Capture (LUX) (Contract)
What is the opportunity?
RBC Investor & Treasury Services Malaysia is a processing center of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographical time zones. Malaysia is one of two operational processing hubs that supports Custody - Transaction Management; Settlements; NAV Production; Fund Reporting; Shareholder Services; Global Fund Platform Services; Data Service Delivery; Entitlements \xe2\x80\x93 income and corporate actions and Reconciliations. The country employs a Global Operating Model to maximise efficiencies across times zones and supports a 24/5 operational capability. The objectives for Malaysia are to enhance the scalability of our global operations, improve service quality via our \xe2\x80\x98centres of excellence\xe2\x80\x99 and to implement/leverage standard processes globally.
Reporting to the Manager, you will be responsible to ensure treatment of cash and security instructions received from RBC I&TS clients are in line with prescribed market, net-asset-value (NAV) and treasury deadlines. The role will support Luxembourg region with working hours between 3:00PM and 12:00AM.
What will you do?
Ensure completion of all trades under STE environment as well as manual trades are completed within agreed timeframe.
Ensure queries on trades, are resolved in timely manner. This also includes queries on STE and manual trades.
Ensure outstanding items are assigned and individual departments/financial institutions are chased for resolution.
Ensure that all instructions are processed to a high standard of accuracy.
Ensure all trades are posted according to procedure.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
PC literate in MS Office applications Excel
Word Knowledge of different investment instrument types
Motivated, flexible, able to be part of a team
Nice-to-have
Any prior banking experience in operations / Back office is a plus
Systems literate
Good Verbal and written communication skills
Process Improvement and innovation.
