Admissions Executive

Job Description

The Admissions Executive plays a key role in student recruitment and enrollment, with a

particular focus on supporting Mandarin-speaking families. This position requires strong

interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly in both English and

Mandarin. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective families through

the admissions journey, from inquiry through enrollment, while also supporting school tours,

events, and orientation programs.

Key Responsibilities:



? Student Recruitment & Engagement

- Engage with prospective Mandarin-speaking families to promote Raffles

American School.

- Respond to new inquiries promptly and provide comprehensive information about

the school's curriculum, facilities, and community.

? Admissions Process Support

- Coordinate and conduct campus tours and information sessions for prospective

families.

- Assist families in completing admissions applications, submitting required

documentation, and processing fee payments.

- Follow up with prospective families to answer questions, provide updates, and

maintain positive communication throughout the admissions process.

? Onboarding & Orientation

- Support new students and their families during orientation, ensuring a smooth

transition into the school community.

- Act as a Mandarin-language translator as needed during meetings, events, or

communications with non-English-speaking families.

? Events & Outreach

- Assist in organizing and representing the school at education fairs and

recruitment events across Malaysia and other countries

- Coordinate with student recruitment agencies and maintain strong working

relationships, particularly within the Mandarin-speaking market.

? Admissions Operations

- Manage and track admissions-related inventory (e.g., brochures, welcome kits,

uniforms).

- Assist with general administrative and departmental tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:



? Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Education, Business, Marketing,

Communications)

? Fluent in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written)

? Prior experience in school admissions, customer service, sales, or student recruitment

preferred

? Strong organizational and communication skills

? Culturally sensitive with the ability to build rapport with diverse families

? Proficient in Google Suite

? Willingness to work occasional weekends or evenings during events
