Malaysia is a crucial leg of the company\'s supply chain and has played a key role in supporting our customer needs while increasing supply to meet the growing demand. As part of Intel\'s recently announced IDM 2.0 strategy and building on its strong foundation laid close to five decades ago, Intel is continuing to invest in and expand its existing facilities in Malaysia. The Chemical and Gas Supply Line Manager is responsible for: \xef\xbf\xbd Converting manufacturing and business requirements into actionable strategies and tactics as they relate to inventory health/optimization; streamlined / reliable services and logistics; and supplier delivery performance. \xef\xbf\xbd Coordinates purchasing activities such as generating / managing / reconciling forecasts and schedules. \xef\xbf\xbd Monitors the acquisition of materials in support of ramping factories, sustaining factories and dispositions materials for end of life factories. \xef\xbf\xbd Proactive management of commodities by creating predictive analysis techniques and providing business insights through data analytics. Analyzes supply vs. demand to make purchasing decisions. \xef\xbf\xbd Executes contractual requirements as well as meets with suppliers to discuss material performance, cost opportunities, and future operational strategies \xef\xbf\xbd Managing the internal stakeholder needs with the supplier capabilities. Drives and participates in the development of system/process improvements and supply chain solutions across organizational teams. \xef\xbf\xbd Owns the quality of the business processes and continuous improvement. \xef\xbf\xbd Owns reconciling and managing the payments including any warranty, remedies and credits. \xef\xbf\xbd Assess appropriate material handling equipment needs to support factory SLA\'s and quality requirements. \xef\xbf\xbd Understand basic chemical and gas IOR ownership and EHS approval to ensure all documents obtained before intel part set-up

Qualifications

Qualifications : \xef\xbf\xbd Bachelor\'s Degree preferably in Supply Chain Management, Material Sciences, Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering \xef\xbf\xbd Proven analytical, communication and influencing skills. \xef\xbf\xbd 6 years plus experience in a similar role in the chemical and gases procurement \xef\xbf\xbd Knowledge of the Fab processes and structure would be beneficial. \xef\xbf\xbd Knowledge of Chemical Hazardous Material Handling/Logistics would be beneficial. \xef\xbf\xbd Candidate must have proven written/verbal communication skills, customer orientation and enjoy working in a team environment.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
