Job Description

• Understand business requirements and develop data models to transform data into relevant insights
• Using Power BI, create custom dashboards and interactive visual reports
• Connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence
• Able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards
• Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per business requirements
• Capable of implementing row level data security and have a good understanding of application security layer models in Power BI
• Create documentation with explanations of algorithms, parameters, models, and relationships

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information System, or other relevant discipline
• Strong background and experience (minimum 3+ years) in finance/ operations in shared services or similar fields
• Background with BI tools such as Power BI and/or Tableau (3-4 years)
• Experience and familiarity with Microsoft BI Stack (3-4 years)
• Experience in data preparation, data gateway and data warehousing projects
• Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports
• Proficient in making DAX queries on Power BI Desktop
• Expertise in using advance level calculations on dataset
• Familiarity and experience in SQL
• Familiarity of database engineering concepts: Data Modelling & ETL
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English to communicate needs with client and internal team
• Good interpersonal skills, able to quickly build relationships with customers
