How You\'ll Make an Impact

\xc2\xb7 Further development of the service workshops with regard to new, uniform manufacturing technologies and manufacturing processes (focus: blading, assembly, machining, welding and coating techniques) within the network.

\xc2\xb7 Participate in creating a global knowledge database for repair processes of all STG Nameplates Support in structuring the project in terms of partner and technology selection.

\xc2\xb7 Develop new growth areas beyond our conventional repair offers in the oil & gas and Energy market to increase the business opportunities and pipeline of SE.

\xc2\xb7 Steer the organization from product to solution-based offers by developing a process/solution-driven mindset in the team.

\xc2\xb7 Possess persuasive presentation and effective communication skills--both verbal and written--across cultures.

\xc2\xb7 Willingness and ability to travel 25% of the time, both domestically and internationally required.

What You Bring

• University degree in mechanical engineering or a related subject and 10+ years of experience in industrial steam turbine manufacturing or services. Previous Field Service or Commissioning experience is a plus.
• Able to navigate through drawings, specifications, and fact-finding data to identify out of spec conditions, and to formulate appropriate repair solutions both independently and collaboratively with engineers, technicians, and specialists across different technical disciplines.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Fluent in English
