Responsibilities & Duties:
Advanced Process Development
Design and implement advanced manufacturing processes for new products
Evaluate and integrate automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 solutions into production environments
Technology Assessment & Implementation
Research emerging manufacturing technologies and assess feasibility for adoption
Drive the implementation of advanced tools such as additive manufacturing, smart sensors, and digital twins
New Product Introduction (NPI)
Collaborate closely with Design and R&D teams to ensure product manufacturability
Develop process flows, tooling concepts, and equipment requirements for new product launches
Continuous Improvement
Lead initiatives to improve productivity, reduce cycle time, and enhance product quality
Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and advanced analytics for process optimization
Cost & Efficiency
Conduct ROI analysis for new technologies, automation, and capital equipment
Optimize resource utilization and reduce overall operational costs
Compliance & Safety
Ensure all advanced manufacturing processes comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
3-7 years of experience in advanced manufacturing or process engineering roles
Skills & Competencies:
Strong expertise in automation, robotics, and smart manufacturing systems
Proficiency in CAD/CAM tools, simulation software, and data analytics
Solid project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and Industry 4.0 principles
Performance Metrics:
Successful implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies
Measurable reduction in production costs and cycle time
Improved process efficiency and product quality
Timely and cost-effective execution of new product introductions
