Here is a description of the job duties and responsibilities of an aesthetician / beautician:

Perform facial treatments like cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, massage and application of masks and serums to cleanse, hydrate and rejuvenate the skin.
Perform body treatments like wraps, scrubs and massages using techniques to soften and smooth the skin.
Recommend appropriate skin care products based on client\'s skin type, concerns and treatment goals. Sell products to clients.
Clean, sterilize and organize treatment rooms, instruments and product inventory.
Maintain client records, treatment plans and case notes. Book and manage appointments.
Continually update skills through ongoing training and education in treatments, technologies and products.
Comply with hygiene, safety and licensing regulations set by state boards.
Reception and administrative tasks like payments, paperwork as needed.
