About the Role

Partner with Agency Distribution (current and new) for developing and growing the GI lines of business, distributed through the partnerships and including engagement with DM-TM business for Sales Governance

For existing partnerships / distribution:

• Work with the Head of Distribution to craft sales strategy and lead the execution of strategy
• Be the key point-of-liaison for counterparts in Distribution, Strategy and Operations of the existing distribution for driving GI business
• Manage governance of partnerships incl. tracking business momentum, co-develop tactical activity to drive production
• Support head of Distribution in engagement with internal stakeholders within AIAGB incl Product, Finance/Actuarial, Operations, Digital and Control functions (risk & compliance to manage business momentum and minimise operating road-blocks for the partner channel (incl , where required for Agency business)

Growth Projects

• Lead engagement in the marketplace to identify potential new partnerships for PA (retail and group opportunities), Motor insurance (incl. franchise partnerships) and Home/Fire (Mortgage partners, real estate players & distributors) and new business areas (Travel)
• Support Head of Distribution and lead projects for building GI distribution growth, incl: Communication tools on GI (events, communications strategy, collaterals)
• Support data-analysis driven decision making for goal setting, performance tracking, development of dashboards, crafting of campaigns/incentives, Cross-tab of data sets across the organisation (eg. 1Life1PA data, Leads generation campaigns for X-sell/Up-sell)

Job Requirements

• Experience in and understanding of the GI industry in Malaysia, with at least 3 years in the GI industry
• Past experience managing partnerships within financial services in general and/or insurance in particular (incl. any of the following managing bank or FI partnerships, managing \xe2\x80\x98alternative\xe2\x80\x99 distribution, managing GI networks/alliances such as car manufacturers or similar)
• GI industry Agency business experience
• Ability to work well with numbers, effective written communication and outgoing disposition - all critical in a sales role
• Ability to work well in teams and be an \'influencer\' - critical when managing partnerships and non-tied distribution
